Founded by Richard Melchin, Joe Milner and John Bachynski, Encore Prime brings a wealth of real estate development knowledge and expertise to the project. This group of principles has extensive experience in land and property development in Canada and the Western U.S., and bring together a 30-year track record of simultaneously delivering forward thinking and innovative communities.
Richard Melchin
Richard Melchin is the senior member of the team with more than 30 years of project acquisition, construction and management in Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia, Utah and Arizona. Richard’s projects are characterized by their forward-looking vision, a development approach exemplified by Three Sisters in Canmore. When Richard purchased 3,300 acres in Canmore in 1988, its potential was unseen by other developers. Since its inception, Richard created a master plan and generated approval for more than 4000 “doors” in Canmore, including single-family and multi-family projects, a Marriott hotel and the Stewart Creek Golf Course. Due in no small part to Richard’s vision, Canmore has become an internationally recognized destination.
John Bachynski
John Bachynski is a second-generation developer and builder. Since moving to Alberta from Ontario more than a decade ago, John has primarily focused on equity financing for projects. John has delivered attractive returns for investors in his land and multi-family projects in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta as well as Victoria, BC and in Golden, BC where he arranged for equity capital on the Glacier Lodge at the Kicking Horse Ski Hill. John brings his strong background in sales, marketing and networking to the Ten Peaks management team.
